ArmInfo.Football club "NOA" calls for a solution to the problem that has arisen around the president of the Football Federation of Armenia Armen Melikbekyan.
After the defeat of the national team of North Macedonia with a score of 0:2, a number of clubs and fans demanded the resignation of the head of the FFA. However, the football authorities limited themselves to only dismissing the head coach of the Armenian national team Aleksandr Petrakov.
In this regard, "NOA" issued a statement in which it recalled that the club did not participate in the elections of the president of the FFA. "The club cooperates with the Football Federation of Armenia to ensure fair play. There are many issues in the development strategy of professional and youth football in Armenia, including those raised by us, on which discussions are underway with the FFA to find solutions. In discussing and solving the problems facing Armenian football, NOA also emphasizes the importance of the participation of football fans. The club continues its path with long-term and promising plans for the development of Armenian football, and is ready to cooperate with all interested parties for these purposes. Given the current situation, we call on all forces concerned about the future of Armenian football to sit down at one table and hold civilized negotiations and come to mutually understandable decisions. Football Club NOA is ready to support this process, uniting all forces around one common goal - to develop Armenian football," the club said in a statement.
