Six historical neighborhoods in the heart of occupied Stepanakert   razed to the ground by Azerbaijan

ArmInfo. Former Artsakh Minister of Culture Sergey Shahverdyan wrote on his Facebook page  that six historical neighborhoods in the center of occupied Stepanakert have been literally razed to the ground.

 "Images of devastating destruction caused by the Azerbaijani authorities have  been published online. Six historic neighborhoods in the center of  occupied Stepanakert have been literally razed to the ground. The  drama theater building has been left unharmed. For now, at least," he  wrote, backing up his words with relevant photographs.

Note that this is not the first neighborhood that Azerbaijan has  razed to the ground during these months of occupation. All of this is  happening against the backdrop of silent encouragement from the  civilized international community. Petrodollars from Baku have  overshadowed all values, including those of experts in the field of  preserving globally significant cultural heritage.
