ArmInfo.Armenia is ready to sign a peace treaty with Azerbaijan right now. This was stated by Hripsime Grigoryan, a member of the NA from the ruling Civil Contract faction, at a briefing in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on October 25.
According to her, nothing has changed in Yerevan's position, and Armenia is ready to sign a peace treaty on the agreed points. These points, according to the parliamentarian, are fully consistent with the principles on the basis of which relations should be regulated. However, the lack of political will on the part of Baku is preventing the achievement of this goal.
The parliamentarian expressed confidence that the signing of a peace treaty will create an atmosphere of mutual trust. Recall that earlier, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan repeatedly stated Yerevan's readiness to sign a document on the already agreed points of the treaty.
