ArmInfo.On October 26-30, Yerevan will host the first international flute festival. It is being implemented in cooperation with the Armenian State Philharmonic, the Moscow Flute Center and the Goncharov Studio.
According to the organizers of the upcoming event, within the framework of the project, concerts, master classes, lectures and an exhibition-seminar of world flute brands will be held in the Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall over the course of 4 days. The guests of the festival will be the soloist of the Frankfurt Opera Orchestra, laureate of the first prize of the Geneva International Flute Competition Elizaveta Ivanova (Russia/Germany), professor of the Leipzig Conservatory Benedek Csalogh (Hungary), soloist of the Kazakhstan State Academic Symphony Orchestra, soloist of the Kazakh State Philharmonic, winner of the International Flute Competition Yerzhan Kushanov (Kazakhstan), soloist and concertmaster of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia, laureate of many international flute competitions Narek Avagyan (Armenia) and others.
The festival concerts will be held on October 27, 28 and 29. During the festival, Elizaveta Ivanova, Benedek Csalogh, Narek Avagyan and Yerzhan Kushanov will hold master classes. Lectures will be given by professor of the Leipzig Conservatory Benedek Csalogh. An exhibition of flutes and accessories will be held in the foyer of the concert hall; samples of world-famous brands will be presented by the Moscow Flute Center.
