Armenian Grandmaster wins international tournament in Kazakhstan

ArmInfo. Grandmaster Aram Hakobyan won the international tournament "Pavlodar Open 2024" in Kazakhstan. This was reported by the Chess Federation of the Republic of Armenia on its Facebook page.

 During the entire tournament, Hakobyan did not lose any game, scoring 8 points out of a possible10.  Another chess player from Armenia, Manuel Petrosyan, finished in 11th place with 6.5 points.  The tournament was held from September 13 to 21, and was attended by 94 chess players from 19 countries.
