ArmInfo. The Tavush for the Motherland movement expressed support for the military-political leadership of Artsakh, illegally held in Azerbaijani captivity. The leader of the Tavush for the Motherland movement, His Holiness (Srbazan - Armenian) Bagrat Galstanyan, said this in a conversation with journalists at the Yerablur military pantheon on September 19.
He and his supporters came to the pantheon to honor the memory of those who laid down their lives a year ago in defense of Artsakh.
"This day is filled with pain, shame and disgrace. We must cleanse our lives of this shame and disgrace. We express support for our compatriots, our brothers and the military-political leadership of Artsakh, who are in illegal captivity. They have become hostages of the criminal cooperation of the Armenian leadership with the Azerbaijani authorities," Srbazan emphasized. He also condemned the international community for its indifference and political intrigues that led to the illegal detention of Armenians in Baku prisons.
"We have only one way. We must bring them home and create an opportunity for all of us to return to our homeland. May God give strength to our people so that in these days, when joy, honor, history have been stolen from us, we find enough strength and opportunity in ourselves to celebrate our victory with confidence and firm faith," Srbazan concluded.
