ArmInfo. The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) continues to view Armenia as an equal partner and is ready for dialogue on all issues. This was stated by CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov in an interview with the socio-political publication "Soyuzniki. CSTO".
The Secretary General drew attention to the fact that representatives of Armenia did not take part in a series of joint CSTO exercises in Russia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. "As you know, representatives of Armenia did not take part in these events. Nevertheless, we continue to view Armenia as an equal partner in the Organization's format and are ready for dialogue with colleagues from Yerevan on the entire spectrum of topical issues," Tasmagambetov noted. We will add that today Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the CSTO poses a threat to Armenia. Earlier, he announced the freezing of membership in the Organization, although there is no such function in the CSTO Charter.
