From May 25 to June 14, the impossible was done - the road, which is the only railway connecting Armenia with the outside world, was restored. Speaking about unblocking communications, he noted that unblocking is possible within the framework of the agreements reached by the leaders of the three states and reflected in the joint statement of November 9- 10, 2020. "As you know, Russia is always ready to join this process and is ready to help here, based on the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity and jurisdiction of Armenia," Overchuk said. He also noted Armenia's active role in the Eurasian Economic Union.

"We discussed plans for the future with the Prime Minister of Armenia, we had a very good, meaningful conversation. In addition, there was a meeting of the co-chairs of the Russian-Armenian intergovernmental commission, where we went through our entire bilateral agenda in detail. The meeting lasted about five hours, which proves that we have a lot of joint work. We discussed issues of transport communications, issues of mutual trade, cooperation in the humanitarian sphere, issues related to aviation, tourism," Overchuk concluded.
