France provides EUR 3mln to Armenian Red Cross Society for supporing  refugees from Nagorno- Karabakh 

ArmInfo. French Ambassador to Armenia Olivier Decotigny congratulated David Nersisyan on his  election as the new President of the Armenian Red Cross Society.

"Over the past year, France has provided 3 million euros in support  of the activities of the Armenian Red Cross Society to assist  refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh," the French Embassy said in a  statement on Facebook.

The Armenian Red Cross Society is the only national organization of  the Red Cross operating in the Republic of Armenia.

As a result of the aggression initiated by Azerbaijan against  Nagorno-Karabakh from autumn 2020 to autumn 2023, over 150 thousand  Artsakh residents became refugees.
