ArmInfo.The premiere screening of the documentary-feature film "The Golden Chain of Mercy" about the rescue of the victims of the Ottoman genocide of the 20th century - Armenians, Assyrians, Pontic Greeks - by residents of Australia and New Zealand will take place in Yerevan.
The author of the idea and producer is Manvel Saribekyan, the screenwriters are James Robins, Valeri Gasparyan, the director is Arman Chilingaryan, the cameraman is Ashot Mkrtchyan, the composer is Artashes Kartalyan, the editor is Tigran Baginyan.
The world premiere of the film was a success in Sydney on August 16 - on the opening day of the Armenian Film Festival in Australia. In September, the film will also be presented as part of the famous Melbourne Film Screenings.
During the month, the film took part in more than a hundred international film festivals according to the IMDb (Internet Movie Database) classification and was awarded four dozen prizes.
According to the organizers of the film screening, the film will be presented in the Armenian capital on September 14, at 18:00, at the Cinema House.
