ArmInfo. The Etchmiadzin Cathedral will reopen its doors to parishioners on September 29 of this year. Father Zakaria announced this on his Facebook page.
Restoration work has been carried out in the Cathedral since 2018.
"By the will of the Lord, on September 29, the Holy Temple will reopen its doors, continuing to distribute centuries-old blessings to our people," wrote Father Zakaria, noting that today is the Shoghakat holiday, the holiday of the vision of Holy Etchmiadzin to St. Gregory the Illuminator. The Armenian Church celebrates it on the Saturday before the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.
