ArmInfo. Former Defense Minister of Armenia David Tonoyan will be released from custody. This was reported by lawyer Albert Benglyan. According to him, Tonoyan will be released on bail of 15 million drams. It is possible that the former minister will be released today, but this will only happen if the bail amount is paid.
Recall that David Tonoyan is a defendant in a criminal case related to abuses in the process of supplying ammunition, including missiles. The head of the company supplying weapons to Armenia, David Galstyan, and former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Stepan Galstyan are also accused in this case. The ex- minister has been in custody since September 2021.
