ArmInfo. The cultural genocide committed by Azerbaijan in Artsakh continues with the silent complicity of the international community. Artsakh Ombudsman Gegham Stepanyan wrote about this in his Twitter microblog (X). He accompanied his post with satellite photographs showing that most of the houses in the village of Mokhrenes in the Hadrud region, a school, a kindergarten and other buildings were destroyed.

He recalled that the Church of St. Sarkis had already been wiped off the face of the earth by the Azerbaijanis by October 2022. It should be noted that after the occupation of the territories of Artsakh, the Azerbaijani authorities began to destroy everything reminiscent of the Armenian presence on this land.  Entire villages, cemeteries, churches, cultural monuments, etc. are being razed to the ground. All this is happening against the backdrop of the silent encouragement of the so-called civilized community.
