ArmInfo. After eight months of development, the new general plan of Yerevan is ready, reads a statement by the Yerevan City Hall.

"The document is currently being digitized and involves constant changes and adjustments. However, it has already gone through many stages of comparison and filling in gaps," the capital's city hall added.

In November 2023, the Yerevan City Hall announced the start of the development of a new general plan for the capital. The press service's statement then noted that the current general plan was outdated and did not meet existing requirements.

The previous capital general plan was envisaged for 2005-2020, therefore, the capital has been developing arbitrarily for 4 years now.
