ArmInfo. Russia does not intend to seek help from its partners in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) after the Ukrainian Armed Forces' offensive in the Kursk region. This was stated by the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots Konstantin Zatulin.
"No, it will not [seek]. It would be surprising if Russia, which is the main country in the CSTO, asked someone for help on its own territory. Who are you going to attract to help Russia in the Kursk region? Do you want to attract the Kazakhs or the Armenians? Who? You are asking some stupid questions," Zatulin said in an interview with Gazeta.Ru.
The fighting in the Kursk region intensified on the morning of August 6. The Ukrainian Armed Forces (Ukrainian Armed Forces) crossed the Russian border and entered the region. Fighting has been going on there for the fourth day.
