ArmInfo. Member of the Armenian  national Greco-Roman wrestling team, silver and bronze medalist of  the Olympic Games, four-time world champion and seven- time European  champion Artur Aleksanyan has reached the semi-finals of the Olympic  Games in Paris.

In the quarter-finals in the weight category up to 97 kg, the  Armenian athlete faced member of the Uzbekistan national team Rustam  Asakalov, whom Aleksanyan was able to defeat with a score of 9:5. The  name of the Armenian wrestler's opponent in the semi-finals will be  announced a little later. The semi-final bout will begin today at  21:30 Yerevan time.

In the quarter-finals, Aleksanyan defeated the representative of  South Korea, Sinjun Kim, with a score of 9:0.
