ArmInfo. The current processes of Armenian-Turkish relations, as never before, are directly linked to the Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiation process, stated opposition MP Tigran Abrahamyan.

"Accordingly, the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations directly depends on agreements with Azerbaijan," he wrote on the

social network.

The MP is convinced that the Turkish-Azerbaijani alliance is trying to completely disable the Armenian state with rather aggressive maneuvers. "After that, any agreement, arrangement or treaty will become insignificant," Abrahamyan summed up.

On July 30, Special Representatives for the normalization process between Armenia and Turkiye, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Ruben Rubinyan and Ambassador Serdar Kilic held their fifth meeting on the Margara-Alican crossing on the border of the two countries.

They reconfirmed the agreements reached at their previous meetings.

Furthermore, they agreed to assess the technical requirements to enable functioning of Akhurik/Akyaka railroad border gate in line with the regional developments as well as to simplify their mutual visa procedures for diplomatic/official passport holders.

Finally, they reemphasized their agreement to continue the normalization process without any preconditions towards achieving the ultimate goal of full normalization between their respective countries.

At the same time, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has repeatedly stated that his country will continue the process of normalizing relations with Armenia in coordination with Azerbaijan. Against this background, the Baku leader, despite Yerevan's efforts to sign a peace agreement as soon as possible, once again stated that he will not sign a peace treaty until the Constitution of Armenia is amended and a transport corridor through the Syunik region of the Republic of Armenia is provided.
