ArmInfo.At a meeting on June 10, the Council of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia rejected the opposition's request to hold an extraordinary meeting of parliament on June 11 to discuss the issue of impeachment of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The head of the opposition faction "Armenia" of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan told reporters about this.
According to him, out of 15 votes in the National Assembly Council, 13 belong to the political majority represented by the Civil Contract party, whose representatives voted against it. "We can say that there are no there was no justification," Ohanyan said.
We note, however, that an extraordinary meeting of the National Assembly at the initiative of the opposition will still take place on June 17.
As for the plenary session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia opening on June 11, 31 issues are included in its agenda.
