No pathogenic bacteria found in water in disaster zone 

ArmInfo. Based on the results of studies of drinking water samples in the disaster zone, it turned out  that no pathogenic bacteria were found. The RA Ministry of Health reports this.

The source notes that immediately after the flood and to this day,  the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the  Ministry of Health took 280 samples of drinking water in the disaster  area, the results of which revealed that no pathogenic bacteria were  found. In the disaster zone, specialists from the National Center for  Disease Control and Prevention continue to take samples of both soil  and dead animals, and explanatory work is being carried out on the  spot.

On May 25-26, a flood occurred in the north of Armenia caused by  heavy precipitation, heavy rain and the Debed River overflowing its  banks, which led to significant destruction of infrastructure and the  death of four people. According to information provided by the  republic's Ministry of Internal Affairs on May 26, the disaster  damaged roads, bridges and railway lines. The main blow of the  disaster fell on the Lori region.  On the Vanadzor-Alaverdi highway  section, about 50 meters of the road were destroyed, several houses  and outbuildings at the Ayrum railway station were flooded. As a  result of the flood, the bridge over the Debed River, connecting the  Sanahin station with the city of Alaverdi, was destroyed.
