MFA Sec Gen: process of approving or disapproving agrement of Gurgen  Arsenyan as ambassador to Russia is confidential

ArmInfo.The process of approving or disapproving the agrement of Gurgen Arsenyan, an RANA MP  from the ruling Civil Contract party, as ambassador to Russia is confidential and there will be no public response to this topic. This was stated to journalists in parliament by the Secretary General of the Armenian MFA David Karapetyan on June 4.

When asked what he had talked about with Arsenyan for so long,  Karapetyan noted that they had discussed working and non-working  issues with the MP. The diplomat declined to answer other questions.

Earlier, a number of Armenian media outlets reported that the Russian  side had confirmed Arsenyan's appointment to the post of Russian  Ambassador. There is no official information on this matter yet.
