ArmInfo. All 27 opposition activists of the Tavush for the Motherland movement detained on May 31 near the building of the Armenian Foreign Ministry have been released. This was reported by the Telegram channel of the movement "Srbazan Paykar" ("Holy Struggle").
On May 31, a scuffle broke out between activists of the opposition movement and police near the building of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, as a result of which 27 people were detained for 72 hours. After the expiration of the term, they were not charged and were released.
Mass actions have been taking place in Armenia for 20 days, the goal of which is to achieve the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The opposition has already announced that its candidate for the post of prime minister is the leader of the Tavush for the Motherland movement, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan.
