ArmInfo. The All-Armenian Congress of the Hay Dat Commission and Offices of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun (ARF) took place in Armenia on May 25-28. Representatives of the Organization from about twenty countries gathered in Yerevan for the event.
According to the ARF press service, at the congress the results of the work of the Armenian ARF Global Network from the previous December 2021 conference until today were heard, various reports on the de- Armenization of Artsakh and the events caused by it were discussed, tactical changes were made to the political priorities and main directions of the structures' activities ARF.
The Congress commended the work aimed at applying sanctions for war crimes and crimes against humanity initiated by the ARF Hay Dat committees in a number of countries, and decided to continue it with new impetus and wider geographical coverage.
The event also discussed the main directions and possible steps that Azerbaijan is likely to take to enhance its international reputation and avoid being labeled a war criminal. In this regard, the Congress adopted relevant decisions aimed generally at increasing international awareness of Azerbaijani crimes.
In addition, the "Hay Dat" committees will deal on a daily basis with the issue of the return of Armenian prisoners held in Baku, including the military-political leadership of the Republic of Artsakh.
Congress participants once again noted that the Karabakh conflict has not been resolved. Therefore, the Hay Data network will continue the international popularization of information about the conflict, considering the implementation of the right of return with a collective and international full guarantee of the people of Artsakh as a priority. The conference also discussed issues of preserving the spiritual and material cultural heritage of Artsakh. Decisions have been made regarding certain actions aimed at this, which involve cooperation both with Armenian and international organizations, and with individual states. The foreign policy pursued by the current authorities of the Republic of Armenia and the possibilities of combating the negative consequences of this policy, as well as steps to internationally publicize the actions of the Tavush for the Motherland movement, received special discussion.
