Armenia absent from CSTO Defense Ministers` Council meeting 

ArmInfo. Armenia again does not participate in the meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the  Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), which is being held today in Almaty.

The event is held within the framework of Kazakhstan's chairmanship  in the CSTO. Its participants will discuss challenges and threats to  military security in the collective security regions of the CSTO and  issues of development of the military component of the Organization.

As Yury Shuvalov, a representative of the Organization's secretariat,  previously told TASS, Armenia does not take part in the Council  meeting, but does not object to decisions being made in Almaty in a  limited format.
