Macron emphasized that Aznavour, born 100 years ago in the century of tragedy and freedom, being a legend of France, Armenia and the whole world, is now eternal.
Yesterday, on the day of the 100th anniversary of the artist's birth, a square named after Charles Aznavour was opened in the VIII arrondissement of the French capital, located in the historical center of the city on the Champs Elysees. The ceremony was attended by the mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo, relatives and friends of the artist.
