ArmInfo. The political forces participating in the discussion of the situation in Armenia agree on one thing: the future prime minister of the country should be primate of the Tavush for the Motherland movement, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan. The archbishop himself told reporters on May 18.
According to him, there is no solution as such; representatives of political forces only expressed their desire, declaring solidarity with the national movement. Galstanyan also said that the participants in today's meeting presented their visions on the further development of events and made specific proposals. Directions for further deepening cooperation were also discussed. "As for the initiative to nominate me as a candidate for prime minister, on this issue I need to consult with Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II in order to understand whether we will follow this path, or whether other decisions are still needed," Srbazan emphasized, adding that the final decision should be the people's, which should approve this decision.
