ArmInfo. The OSCE Chair-in-Office and Foreign Minister of Malta Ian Borg evaded answering the question whether the Organization he heads is ready to facilitate the return of Artsakh residents to their homes.
Thus, on May 13, at a press conference in Yerevan, the current OSCE Chairman, when asked to comment on the role of the organization in resolving relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and to clarify whether the Organization is ready to assist in creating international guarantees for the return of Artsakh people to their homes, admitted that the OSCE is it's about the people and for the people.
"But at the same time, the organization cannot interfere in bilateral processes between players. We respect the position of the two countries," Borg said, without answering the question whether the OSCE is ready to assist in ensuring international guarantees for the return of Artsakh residents to their homes.
A group of Artsakh residents is holding a rally now in front of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, where Borg's negotiations with the head of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Ararat Mirzoyan took place. The protesters also handed Borg a letter with their demands and expectations.
