ArmInfo.Two working groups have been created under the commission on state border delimitation and border security between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The decision to establish them was signed by RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the press service of the RA government reported on April 22.
Working groups, the source notes, will engage in geodetic work in order to describe and clarify the coordinates of the state border between settlements on the Armenian side - Baganis, on the Azerbaijani side - Baganis Ayrum, Voskepar (Republic of Armenia) - Ashagi-Askipara (Azerbaijan Republic), Kirants (Republic of Armenia) - Heyrimli (Republic of Azerbaijan), Berkaber (Republic of Armenia) - Kyzyl Hadjili (Republic of Azerbaijan).
According to the decision of the head of the Cabinet, the first group, led by the Governor of Tavush region Hayk Galumyan, also included the leaders of the Noyemberyan community Arsen Aghababyan, Ijevan - Arthur Chagaryan, the heads of the Voskepar, Baganis, Berkaber, Kirants communities, as well as residents of these villages.
The second group consists of representatives of Armenia's military and security bloc. Head of the Department of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia David Sanamyan was appointed coordinator for the organization of work. It also includes Deputy Minister of Defense Arman Sargsyan, as well as Deputy Head of the Cadastre Committee, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces, Acting Commander of the border troops of the National Security Service of Armenia and other persons.
