ArmInfo.The Anahit prize in the "Best sound design" category has been awarded to Andranik Berberyan for the music composed for the film Amerikatsi directed by Michael A. Goorjian. The film was selected as the Armenian entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards.
The music in the film was scored by the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia under the direction of maestro Eduard Topchyan and soloist violinist Anush Nikoghosyan.
"Each film is a unique journey into the unknown realms of human emotions. I am deeply grateful to the members of the awards ceremony jury for appreciating the work done. I am especially pleased that my works and the works of our studio were included in various "Anait" nominations and were highly appreciated by specialists. I thank my teammates and everyone who contributed to this victory," said Andranik Berberyan.
