ArmInfo. Famous jazz pianist Vardan Ovsepian, who has lived and created in the United States over  the past 20 years, will give a concert in Yerevan. 

Vardan Ovsepian (USA) will be performing at AGBU Armenia with his  trio featuring Artyom Manukyan (cello) and Karen Kocharyan (drums) on  March 26, 2024.

On March 27, Hovsepian's first solo concert will take place in his  homeland - at the House of Chamber Music named after. Komitas. At the  recital, the musician will also perform famous jazz works, including  those by Michel Legrand.

Vardan Hovsepian received higher education at Yerevan State  Conservatory, the Estonian Academy of Music, the Helsinki Jazz  Conservatory and the Berklee College of Music (Boston, USA).

The musician lives in Los Angeles, teaches at the California  Institute of the Arts (CalArts), but does not lose touch with his  homeland. He regularly returns to Armenia, performing in various  concert programs.
