ArmInfo.On March 2, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Helga Schmid, the OSCE Secretary General.
The interlocutors discussed issues of cooperation between Armenia and the OSCE, including the implementation of particular projects.
Regional issues were touched upon. Minister Mirzoyan briefed on the latest discussions in the normalization process of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and key issues, particularly the positions of Armenia on ensuring the further delimitation process on the basis of the Alma-Ata Declaration of 1991 and unblocking the regional communications. Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of demonstrating clear commitment by Azerbaijan and adherence to the declared principles in these matters.
Views were exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
"Good opportunity to catch-up with my Macedonian colleague on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
"Exchanged views on regional topics, prospects of solving outstanding issues which still hinder establishment of durable peace in South Caucasus. Stressed Armenia's clear position, in line with known principles," Mr Mirzoyan wrote on his X account.
On March 2, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Odongo Jeje Abubakher, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uganda.
The interlocutors discussed issues of development of bilateral cooperation, touching upon the prospects of enhancing ties in political, economic, trade, high technologies and other spheres with big potential for cooperation.
Issues on cooperation within multilateral platforms were discussed.
The Ministers of Armenia and Uganda discussed issues of regional security as well. On March 2, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Veronica Macamo, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Mozambique.
The Ministers touched upon the issues aimed at expanding the agenda of the bilateral cooperation and the political dialogue, expressing mutual willingness to make efforts towards deepening the cooperation in all spheres of interest.
Issues on cooperation within multilateral platforms were also on the agenda of the meeting.
Views were exchanged on regional security issues. Minister Mirzoyan emphasized the efforts aimed at stability and peace in the South Caucasus, adding that this goal can only be achieved through mutual commitment.
The parties emphasized the importance of respect for well-known principles of international law on the path towards peace.
"Good to exchange thoughts with Luigi Di Maio during AntalyaDF bilaterally and in the round table discussion addressing topics of connectivity and regional cooperation," Mr Mirzoyan wrote.
"On the sidelines of Antalya DF FM Ararat Mirzoyan had a number of other engagements with officials from Iraq, Turkiye, USA and international organizations, including WIPO DG Daren Tang," the RA foreign ministry reports.
