Earlier, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, at a meeting with representatives of the Armenian community in Germany, stated that Armenia is not an ally of Russia in the Ukrainian issue. Pashinyan believes that the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration on the CIS is also applicable to Ukraine, since it was recognized by 13 post-Soviet states, including Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
According to him, he said two years ago that Armenia is not an ally of Russia on the issue of Ukraine. "And this is our sincere position. . It is very sad for us that we cannot have influence in this situation. The Ukrainian people are friendly people to us," said the Armenian prime minister.
