ArmInfo.Medical humanitarian aid from Armenia, received by the headquarters of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine, was transferred to a military hospital in Dnieper. Humanitarian assistance includes medical supplies and medicines for wounded Ukrainian military personnel, reported the press service of the Dnepr Headquarters.
The head of the headquarters of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine, David Mkrtchyan, said that humanitarian aid was transferred by the Armenian government in response to their request. It is recalled that in July 2023, at the summer conference of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine, it was decided to appeal to the government of the Republic of Armenia in order to obtain support from Ukraine. According to the decision of the Headquarters, all assistance received will be completely transferred to the military hospital of Ukraine.
"Against the backdrop of the continuation of Russia's destructive war against Ukraine, the Headquarters of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine decided to transfer this humanitarian cargo in full to a military hospital in Ukraine. This will strengthen the provision of prompt medical care to wounded military personnel in military hospitals for their speedy stabilization and speedy recovery," noted David Mkrtchyan.
The ceremony of transferring medical humanitarian aid from Armenia to the Dnepr military hospital took place on February 1 on the square of the Dnepropetrovsk Regional Military Administration with the participation of the Chairman of the Headquarters of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine David Mkrtchyan, the Head of the Dnepropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Sergius Lisak, the Ambassador of Armenia to Ukraine Vladimir Karapetyan, the Chairman of the Ukrainian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church of Bishop Markos Hovhannisyan, Chairman of the CF "Armenian Headquarters Dnepr" David Arakelyan, member of the GO "Union of Armenians of Ukraine" Avetik Gasparyan.

Let us add that on the same day, a meeting took place between Armenian Ambassador Vladimir Karapetyan and the head of the Dnepropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Sergei Lisak. During the meeting, the ambassador provided up-to-date information on the medical humanitarian assistance provided to Ukraine from the Armenian government. Particular attention was paid to the current state and prospects for the development of Ukrainian-Armenian relations.
Sergey Lisak and Vladimir Karapetyan exchanged views on the possibilities of cooperation between the two countries.
