


ArmInfo. From February 1, 2024, Armenian citizens will be allowed to arrive in Dubai and other UAE emirates without visas.
According to the source, thanks to an agreement between the countries, tourists can stay in the UAE for up to 90 days (within 180 days) without issuing entry visas. The innovation will simplify the process of planning a trip and will contribute to the development of tourism and the economy of both countries.
Tourism flow between the UAE and Armenia continues to show impressive growth. For example, the number of tourists from Armenia who visited Dubai in 2023 increased by 14% compared to 2022 and by 127% compared to pre-Covid 2019. This once again indicates the growing popularity of Dubai.
"Dubai attracts tourists from Armenia with unique attractions, a high level of service, a variety of hotels for every budget, excellent beaches and cultural events. The city offers a variety of entertainment, including shopping, amusement parks, food and music festivals, cruises and business events. The city is famous for its harmonious combination traditions and innovations, a rich cultural heritage of interest to travelers of all ages. Thus, the simplified visa regime makes Dubai and other emirates of the UAE even more attractive for tourists from Armenia with a wide variety of entertainment and recreational opportunities," an official report reads.
