ArmInfo. A member of the "Mother Armenia" faction in the Council of Elders of Yerevan, Narine Hayrapetyan (Nare Sose), made a video message and spoke about the reasons for her departure from the country.
So, according to her, after the famous kidnapping, she was forced to leave the country due to police pressure. As Hayrapetyan reported, at the police station, high-ranking police officers forced her to the crime report, moreover, they confiscated her phone, although there was no reason for this.
"It's difficult for me to say what the connection is between the man who kidnapped me and these officers, but it is obvious that there is one. I realized that they would not leave me alone, and if I did not obey their will, I would be subjected to torture that I could not bear, because I have serious health problems. Therefore, in order to somehow delay time and gain time to escape, I wrote a report under their dictation. After that, I left the country and asked for political asylum," said Hayrapetyan, but never informing in which country she is now and from whom she asked for political asylum. She also assured that she would continue her political activities no matter what, because the Motherland really needs her.
On January 23, it became known that on January 15, around 09:30, Yerevan resident Narine Hayrapetyan was forced to get into a car by unknown persons inTotovents street, after which she was blindfolded. Then the attackers transported her to an unfamiliar place, where a certain man aged 60-65 met her, who pointed out that Hayrapetyan's statements and political activities were inadmissible. After that, the same persons took her back, where they dropped her off on Abovyan Street.
According to the press secretary of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia Gor Abrahamyan, a criminal case has been opened on this fact. "A report was received regarding the kidnapping, and therefore, on January 17, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under Article 191, part 2, paragraph 5 of the Criminal Code. An investigation is currently underway to verify the data. The police have been instructed to conduct an investigation and transfer important information to the investigative body conducting the proceedings," noted Gor Abrahamyan.
