ArmInfo. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Vahe Gevorgyan has been relieved of his post.
The decision, according to the official website of the government, was signed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on January 10.
Gevorgyan was appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in September 2021. Before that, in 2019- 2021, he was an adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia. Previously, he served as Deputy Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the OSCE, Head of the Arms Control and International Security Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, First Secretary of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Armenia at the UN Office in Geneva and other diplomatic positions.
