Armenian president meets with outgoing president of Argentina Alberto  Fernandez

ArmInfo.Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan, who is on a working visit to Buenos Aires, had a  meeting with outgoing President of Argentina Alberto Fernandez. 

According to the press service of the RA President, during the  meeting the prospects and opportunities for further development of  Armenian-Argentine relations were discussed. The presidents of the  two countries stated that there is great potential for cooperation in  bilateral relations, for the implementation of which geographic  distance should not be considered an obstacle.

During the conversation, the parties touched upon the latest regional  events in the South Caucasus and the problems facing Armenia and the  Armenian people. In this context, Alberto Fernandez emphasized that,  being a lawyer by profession, he has always opposed the injustices  committed against the Armenian people.

At the end of the meeting, Vahagn Khachaturian awarded outgoing  President Alberto Fernandez with the Order of Honor.
