ArmInfo. Valeri Lobach has been appointed Ukrainian charge d'affaires ad interim in Armenia.
Mr Lobach was born on October 23, 1969 in the village of Rudki, Sambir district, Lviv region. In 1992, he graduated from the Ivan Franko Drohobych State Pedagogical University and received a qualification as a teacher of general technical subjects and physics. In 2000, he graduated from Ivan Franko Lviv National University, qualified as a specialist in international economic relations and an English translator.
2000-2001 - Specialist, leading specialist of the representative office of the State Committee of Ukraine on regulatory policy and entrepreneurship development in the Lviv region.
In 2003-2005 - second class specialist, attache, third secretary of the operational response department of the Consular Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, third secretary of the analysis and planning department of the Consular Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
2005-2009 Second Secretary for Consular Affairs of the Ukrainian Embassy in the Czech Republic. 2009- 2010 - First Secretary of the Consular Support Department of the Department of Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine for the protection of the interests of individuals and legal entities. 2010-2011 - First Secretary of the Fourth Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Department of South-Eastern Europe.
2011-2016 - First Secretary for Consular Affairs of the Ukrainian Embassy in the Czech Republic. 2016- 2017 - Head of the Consular Activities Department of the Consular Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. 2017-2020 - Deputy Director of the State Administration of the Department of Consular Administration of the Department of Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, head of the department. 2020-2022 - Director of the Digitalization Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. 08.2022-03.2023 - Ambassador with Special Assignments of the Department of the EU and NATO. 03.2023-11.2023 - Ambassador at Large of the Consular Service Department. He speaks English, Czech, Polish and Croatian. Married and has two children.
