ArmInfo. Moscow has commented on the possibility of participation of Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan in the CIS and EAEU meetings in St. Petersburg.
On November 29, during a weekly briefing, to clarify whether there is hope that Pashinyan will still come to St. Petersburg at the end of this year, taking into account the words of Russian Presidential Assistant Yuri Ushakov. In particular, he said that Moscow received a clear signal from Yerevan that the Armenian prime minister will participate in the informal traditional meeting of the leaders of the CIS countries and in the formal meeting of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in St. Petersburg in December.
Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, in particular, said: "It seems to me that here we need to proceed not from hopes, but from specific facts. And form a position, of course, from reality. Therefore, let's wait for concrete actions, then we will comment."
Earlier the Armenian side refused to participate in the work of the CSTO statutory bodies in Minsk.
