ArmInfo.Since September 11, Azerbaijan has been waiting for a response from Armenia regarding proposals for a peaceful settlement. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated at a joint briefing with President of the Republic of Iraq, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, probably forgetting to mention that after these proposals, Baku launched an aggression against Artsakh.
According to him, Baku is waiting for comments on its proposals from Yerevan. "We have repeatedly exchanged proposals on a draft peace treaty. But now, since September 11, we have been waiting for more than two months for a response from the Armenian government, but we have not received a response. The reason for this is "bad advice" from France, which plays a very destructive role in the South Caucasus," Aliyev said, assuring that this is a serious threat to regional stability.
According to him, Azerbaijan does not need war, "however, the government and political establishment of Armenia are thinking about revenge."
Aliyev then criticized the cooperation between Paris and Yerevan in the field of weapons, noting that by arming Armenia, France will not help the latter. "No one will help them, as it was before," Aliyev said cynically, inspired by the inaction of the international community against the backdrop of Azerbaijani aggression against Artsakh.
