ArmInfo.Yerevan s now engaged in a dialogue with Ankara. We have never had such an active dialogue before, said Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia in Yerevan, speaking at the autumn session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
At the same time, the parties have not yet achieved any success in terms of establishing diplomatic relations, the Armenian prime minister added.
"But the settlement of relations between Armenia and Turkey is the most important factor in the strategic vision of a peaceful, developing and secure environment in our region - the South Caucasus. We hope to soon hear news about the opening of the Armenian-Turkish border for citizens of third countries and holders of diplomatic passports, and this will be a big symbolic step," Pashinyan said.
As the Head of the Cabinet of Ministers noted, the Armenian authorities hope to make the South Caucasus a <region that brings good news to the world> and the Republic of Armenia, and he personally, are ready to take their share of responsibility for achieving this goal.
