ArmInfo. Yerevan is considering the Russian side's proposal to hold a meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Moscow, but there are no specific agreements yet, Armenian Ambassador to the Russian Federation Vagharshak Harutyunyan told Interfax.
"There are various proposals, discussions, but there are no concrete agreements yet, because there are difficulties with the work schedule. Therefore, there are no problems here, just a matter of technical agreement. The Armenian side does not refuse any proposals. Work is underway," Harutyunyan said on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum, answering the agency's relevant question.
Official Moscow has repeatedly expressed its readiness to provide a platform for holding a meeting between representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan. Baku agreed to such a meeting with Russian mediation.
However, the other day, Secretary of the Armenian Security Council Armen Grigoryan said that Yerevan at this stage does not consider it advisable to go to Moscow, and prefers the western platform, from where it received specific proposals for a peace treaty.
