ArmInfo. Moscow is considering the latest steps of the Armenian leadership, including  the refusal of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to participate in the  CSTO summit, the expansion of supplies of Western weapons to the  republic, and the friendship of Yerevan and Kiev as "links of the  same chain." Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry  Maria Zakharova announced at a briefing on November 15.

"But it seems to me, taht this is a chain of enslavement. The West  grabbed Armenia with a "bestial grip" after it failed its policy in  Ukraine, trying to tear it away from Russia", the diplomat  emphasized, adding that the attempt to "sit on two chairs never did  any good for anyone." "We are considering the latest statements and  steps of the Armenian leadership, including the refusal of Prime  Minister Nikol Pashinyan to participate in the upcoming session of  the CSTO Collective Security Council in Minsk, Mr. Grigoryan's  revelations about the so-called "European integration" or "non-align  status" of Armenia, the expansion of supplies of Western weapons to  the republic, the sudden so-called "friendship" of Yerevan with the  Kiev regime, probably like links in one chain," Zakharova noted.

She noted that Yerevan took the path of ratifying the Rome status of  the International Criminal Court (ICC), solely for political reasons.  "Despite all the warnings, especially against the backdrop of this  anti- Russian policy unleashed through the ICC or using the ICC, it  was unleashed by the West against the leadership of our country,  officials, Yerevan still decided to ratify it solely for political  reasons, " Zakharova said.
