Armenian-American military cooperation continues at high level in  accordance with interaction plan - Chief of General Staff

ArmInfo. Armenian-American military cooperation continues at a high level in accordance with  approved plans. Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Edward Asryan told reporters on November 9.

According to him, cooperation involves both educational interaction  and defense-technical interaction.

The Chief of the General Staff, in fact, refused to indicate the  exact scale of the territories of Armenia occupied by Azerbaijan.  Previously, he mentioned 140 sq. km. area was occupied by Azerbaijan,  but recently RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan increased  it to 200 sq. km. Now is not the time to engage in calculations,  follow the messages, everything is shown there," the head of the  General Staff noted.

Last week Asryan visited the US European Command in Germany.  Discussions focused on Armenia's security environment, defense  reforms, and defense cooperation with the United States.
