ArmInfo. About 2,500 forcibly displaced Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians that arrived in Armenia have left the country, Armenia's Premier Nikol Pashinyan said at a Cabinet meeting on Thursday.
"I hope that they went abroad to visit their relatives for a while in order to overcome the state of shock, spend some time there and return in the future," Pashinyan said.
According to him, if for any reason compatriots are unable to return to their homes (in Artsakh), the authorities' policy will be aimed at doing everything possible for them to live and work in the Republic of Armenia.
He pointed out that the RA authorities did not want the people of Artsakh to leave their homes, but, if this is the case, then Armenia is ready to welcome them with warmth and care.
According to the RA government, 100,632 forcibly displaced citizens have currently entered Armenia from Nagorno-Karabakh.
