American senator calls on U.S. administration to impose sanctions  against Azerbaijan

ArmInfo. Jack Reed, Rhode Island's U.S. Senator, Chairman of the U.S. Senate Armed Services  Committee appealed to the U.S. administration to impose sanctions against Azerbaijan.

"It is critical we do more to support the Armenian people of  Nagorno-Karabakh. I'm urging colleagues & the Administration to hold  Azerbaijan accountable for ongoing human rights violations by  imposing targeted sanctions & cessation of U.S. security assistance  to Aliyev government," the senator wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
