Russian, Azerbaijani FMs meeting in New York 

ArmInfo. On September 22, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with the Minister of Foreign  Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov on the sidelines of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the RF Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports. 

The Azerbaijani delegation once again apologized to Russia for the  tragic death of the Russian peacekeeping serviceman on September 20  in Nagorno-Karabakh, and assured the Russian side that a most  thorough investigation is underway, which is already yielding  results, and that all those responsible will be held accountable.

The sides discussed the situation in the region with a focus on the  humanitarian component, as well as a number of other current  international issues.
