ArmInfo. Armenia has received proposals from Azerbaijan on the draft peace treaty. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan stated on September 13 from the rostrum of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
He emphasized that earlier Yerevan presented Baku with the fifth edition of its proposals for the project, and literally yesterday received new initiatives from Azerbaijan. The minister noted that the process and discussions on the document continue, despite the absence of direct negotiations after June of this year. Mirzoyan emphasized that the positions of the parties on the most sensitive issues are still far from each other.
Answering a question about the possibility of a new meeting, which is planned to be held in Washington or Granada, as discussed by President of the European Council Charles Michel, Mirzoyan said that there really are preliminary agreements. "At the moment I can say that there is no specific agreement on the meeting, there are only preliminary agreements and discussions," the minister said.
