ArmInfo. The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Armenia is  preparing a National Road Safety Strategy. Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Armenia Gnel Sanosyan stated this in an interview with the Public Television of Armenia.

According to him, the strategy will soon be presented to the  government, after which the program of activities for 2023-2027 will  be approved. Within the framework of these activities, special  attention will be paid to areas where traffic accidents most often  occurred.

As Sanosyan noted, it is planned to conduct an expert study in these  areas, which will identify the causes and carry out appropriate work.  As a result, in certain areas the road layer will be completely  replaced, in some areas it may be necessary to introduce new  solutions. Changes may also affect the movement itself, the  installation of additional road signs, etc. On average, it is planned  to carry out work on 30 such sites per year.
