ArmInfo.Tehran welcomes the negotiations between Yerevan and Baku and does not accept any geopolitical changes in the region. Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said during a joint press conference with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, IRNA reports.
The Iranian minister added that Tehran "will not accept any geopolitical changes in the region and blocking of existing transit routes in the region." According to Amirabdollahia, the era of tensions and conflicts in the region has come to an end, and now it is the time for cooperation.
He also noted that he and his Turkish counterpart agreed about a format of Iran, Turkiye and Azerbaijan which was proposed by the Turkish foreign minister to help ensure peace and stability in the Caucasus region.
