EU calls on Armenia, Azerbaijan to avoid further violence

ArmInfo. Peter Stano, Lead Spokesperson for foreign affairs and security policy, called on  Armenia and Azerbaijan to avoid further violence.

"Armenia/Azerbaijan:  EU deplores the latest armed clashes that led  to several servicemen being killed and injured in the border areas  between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The EU calls on all sides to avoid  further violence and recommit to dialogue," Stano said on his  microblog on X (formerly Twitter).

  Yesterday, the armed forces of Azerbaijan launched a massive attack  on the advanced units of the Armenian Armed Forces using UAVs,  mortars and small arms. When repelling the attack, three Armenian  soldiers were killed, two were injured.
